Best foundations for oily skin?

No foundation will stay fresh in place all day on its own especially on oily skin. It takes an entire routine with specific products to do that. I'm extremely oily. This is my BUDGET routine that keeps me matte all day, no matter how hot/humid, no need to retouch, reapply, blot anything or worry about makeup rubbing off/fading throughout the day:

1) Start off with gentle cleanser and toner for oily skin from the drugstore of your choice.

2) Next apply pure aloe vera gel as a matte moisturizer. It's only a few dollars for a large tube/bottle that lasts ages, natural, soothing. Rebalances oily skin and hydrates it while leaving a healthy matte, not overdried finish which is ideal underneath makeup.

3) After aloe dries/absorbs, use a makeup spray. It'll keep makeup on all day and to an extent control oil. A primer won't keep you matte or hold your makeup in place even if it claims to.Those just fill in lines/pores and create smooth canvas for makeup application. There unfortunately are no sprays in the drugstore that work however you can order very budget friendly ones online. Kryolan Fixier and Ben Nye Final Seal Matte Sealer are cheap and work as well as my expensive favorites from skindinavia, motives and premiere products inc.

If you want a primer to fill in lines/pores after, fyrinnae velvet silica gel is the best under 10 dollars. It creates flawless canvas and doesn't make me sweaty like elf, rimmel, loreal, maybelline, revlon, hard candy, monistat antichafing and other drugstore primers.

4) Next you can apply ANY foundation. It doesn't matter what finish, form, it is or what brand for the most part as long as it is OIL FREE. Always read the ingredients because some claim to be matte while containing oil example maybelline foundations.

The best drugstore foundations for oily skin however in my opinion are physicians formula talc free mineral wear liquid, bourjois mate minerals mousse, revlon mineral mousse and prestige skin loving minerals gentle finish powder foundation.

the worst are revlon photo ready. It is greasy and has tacky sparkles that only draw attention to the greasy disaster pretending to be a foundation. all maybelline, covergirl, rimmel and loreal foundations are also horrible.

If you wear any other face makeup whether its concealer, blush, bronzer, luminizer etc make sure its also oil free by reading ingredients.

5) Set your face makeup with a good finishing powder. The best under 20 that control oil/sweat exceptionally well without caking/flaking, overdrying, oxidizing, feeling heavy, appearing ashy/ghastly are:

These aren't cakey or poor at oil control like rimmel, covergirl, maybelline, revlon, hard candy and most drugstore powders that I've tried throughout the years.

6) After doing eye makeup (eyeshadow primers that are affordable for oily lids: elf mineral, etude house waterproof, nyx hd. layer eyeshadow well. stick to waterproof gel/cream or pencil liner as it'll out last the best pencil. waterproof mascara) and filling in brows if you regularly do this, reapply the kryolan or ben nye powder and allow it to dry. It'll give you a healthy satiny glowy matte but it'll keep your makeup fresh in place. Again no blotting, retouching, reapplying, worrying about fade/rub off. Your eye makeup will also remain fresh until night time or until you want it to come off.

I live in a relatively hot/humid climate and I go from morning to night without problem.

Benefit foundation is soo good just go to benefit and just tell them ur problem and they will help :) or look it up online. But yeh benefit x btw uve got blotchy skin becUse u wear too much make up and ur coating ur skin and it makes it oily. If u have t wear make up then make sure u wipe it off at night and exfoliate x

i used to have the same problem! now i use "covergirl natureluxe"

the one that taylor swift models for. it works really good and my skin dosnt get oily.

and for face wash use proactive! it really helps with oily skin,

and if you have oily skin, you shouldnt really wear concealer because i find that just makes it worse, only put it on bags (dark circles).
