How to say I hate homework because it takes too long?

Hi guys, I'd like to say for my french exam "I hate homework, because it takes too long." Would I have to say "je déteste les devoirs, parce que ils prainnent trop de temps", or "je déteste les devoirs parce que il prend trop de temp". I know you would normally say Je déteste FAIRE les devoirs, but I'm adding this to an end of a sentence, so it would be unnecessary. Thanks :-)

Update:

It is for french oral, I'm pretty sure my teacher is going to be more concerned about whether the French is right, than if I don't like doing my homework. He won't expect us to ENJOY being set six hours of French over the weekend. + You didn't answer my question, but thanks anyway

Cry me a river... I have to study Japanese 8 hours a day, in Japan. You're never going to learn a language if you're not passionate about it. And if you are, then homework should be fun right?

It might be less complicated in the event you transformed a million two/3 into an incorrect fraction then establishing equations like so... Jack=(five/three)Jill Jill=11/two **on account that you already know Jill spent 11/2hours on her homework you'll be able to alternative that into the primary equation the situation Jill is... Jack=(five/three)(eleven/two) *multipy Jack=fifty 5/6 or nine a million/6 hours on homework For the 2nd aspect you recognize jack spent seventy 9/4 hours on his homeworkand your watching for Jill's time so plug in seventy 9/four inside the primary equation and resolve for Jill... Seventy 9/four=(five/three)Jill *divide either side through five/three to get Jill through itself.. Jill=237/20 or eleven 17/20 hours spent

Hi dear, your question is interesting but sounds not good. you should not hate to do your homework because by doing it you revised what you learn in your class everyday...and I am sure if you say it to your teacher he will not appreciate it, and may be he will give you more homework to do than before. So just concentrate on your studies and off course on your daily homework...good luck for your bright future.
