Algebra maths questions (2a^7 x 50a^3)^-1/2 & (3x^4 x 9x^5)^-1/3?
1. (2a^7 x 50a^3)^-1/2
2. (3x^4 x 9x^5)^-1/3
Please solve and show full working.
I don't get how to do these types especially when it comes to simplifying I get the wrong answer.
Also please explain to me how to work them out.
For this question (2a^7 x 50a^3)^-1/2 the answer is 1/3x^3 but I got 1/9x^3
Please explain to me why it is a 3 not 9
1.012^t = 3
What does t equal and how do you work it out?
I normally just guess but whats the actual way?

Subtract both sides by 30 to obtain: x² + x - 30 = 0 Factor the polynomial, which gives: (x - 5)(x + 6) = 0 Set each by zero and solve for x. This gives: x - 5 = 0 and x + 6 = 0 Therefore, you have: x = {5, -6} I hope this helps!
