What is the best new car to buy?

I've had a 1995 blazer for about 2 years now, and my grandparents are going to buy me a car for my graduation present. They were looking at a suzuki SX4 crossover. Any comments on it or any other suggestions? Here is what I'm looking for.

-good on gas

-four wheel drive/ all wheel drive

-safety

-lots of space

    Subaru Impreza WRX is great car for you,extremely reliable and great in snow. And it gets 30mpg.

    Mazda CX5 is another good one,gets 28mpg

    Honda CR-V is a brilliant car,very reliable and gets 26mpg

    Your parents are thinking about a good choice,SX4 is cheap yet reliable. Take your bet with it.

    The best All wheel drive cars out on the road are Subarus. They are also very reliable, safe and have plenty of room.

    My personal opinion would be to avoid the suzuki. To my knowledge, they are not very reliable cars over time.

    I would say honda accord, thats the most reliable you can get but i dont think they are all wheel drive.. probably a subaru

    Chevy Volt. Electric and gas. Will save a ton on gas !
