About the anime, Tiger and Bunny?
Would you recommend the series to someone who mostly reads American superhero comics?
I saw posters and videos for it while I was at Comic Con last year, and it seemed interesting with its use of real companies as the heroes' sponsors.

Yes, it's the only real anime I can think of that gives a super hero-ish feel. It's pretty good. There is the possibility of a second season, a movie out, and another movie being worked on. The plot isn't bad at all and sort of follows your supero-like good guy vs. weak bad guys routine until encountering super bad guys.
