Does a following up an Emergency Room visit with a Primary Care Physician visit, reduce repeat ER use? If so, could you support this with literature? I found some, but hoping others may be able to add.

    Yes, The problem with ERs, is that too many people treat them as their PCP and overwhelm them with trivial problems. Another problem is that so many family members come in with them and there are no seats for the truly sick people.
