Gradual weight loss plan?

Hi,

I'm 5'1" (155cm) and weigh 53kg's (117lbs) but my ultimate goal weight is 48kg (105lbs) a couple of months ago I got down to 51kg and it made no difference to how i looked, and I kind of stopped..oops.

I have to do a 10km run in a few months so an easy training programme that escalates to harder workouts is what im looking for, some cardio and strength workouts I can do outside the gym.

And a guide to the kinds of meals and foods I should and shouldn't be eating.

Any tips on how not to snack thats my biggest downfall also how to avoid sugar cravings.

Thank you so much I know this is a lot of questions in one but please I need your help :)

Any other helpful tips you can think of would be appreciated aswel.

    Hi! Fruits and vegetables should be your best friends! They are very beneficial to your body cause they contain good fats and sugars unlike processed food! You should also be drinking tons of water. About 8 glasses a day. Also don't drink your calories meaning sugary sodas and juices are a no-no! You can also pick up snack sized cereal bars or brownie bars that are low in calories and satisfy your cravings! Remember don't starve yourself or cut out all foods at once, just limit your portions and go for healthier options! Also if you need exercising tips and routines, look and YouTube! There's a lot of great videos. Hope I helped! Good luck!

    1 1/2 - 2 lbs a week is the best average weight loss. Losing weight too fast can cause many health problems. Congratulations on your new healthy life style. Keep up the good work

    always have vegetables on hand saute a big bag of frozen mixed vegetables in olive oil and garlic add some red pepper or turmeric for additional flavor and separate into portion sized containers for the fridge
