How do you google something?

I am not trolling ok, my grandma just wont ******* understand how to.

This is the best I tried to explain: open an internet browser (i left a shortcut too), go to google.com from the address bar, type in what you want to search and click the first or second link.

She still just wont freaking understand, how do i make it even more clear ?

Try explaining it to her in terms she can relate to. For example tell her it's like when she goes to a store to find something and she asks a sales person where it is.

Google is like the store the search bar is like the sales person.

She probably is intimidated by how much google search engine finds as your instructions are the basics. The trick with google is knowing how to narrow the search by knowing how to word the search and using " " around for specific searches for example. However until she understands the basics there is no point letting her know the more advanced features like that.

When ever teaching anyone anything if you put it into a perspective they can relate to they learn it faster.

make sure you point out where the browser is on the desktop using hand gestures and also point your cursor on it, show here the mouse and show her which button to press to activate the browser. and same show her how to search on the web,
