My mouse bit me, what should I do to make her less scared and stressed?

I just bought two pet mice, a black one and a brown one, about an hour ago. The black one is very sweet and shy, but the brown one is scared out of her mind!!! What can I do? I can pick up the black one without worrying, but I tried to pick up the brown one, and not only did she succeed in jumping out of my hand a few times, but she bit me! I know she was afraid, so I'm not mad at her for it. What can I do to make sure this won't happen again? Should I leave her alone? If so, for how long?

If you only brought them an hour ago they really shouldn't be held straight away, they need time to get settled in and calm themselves down and then after that you need to bond with her, slowly. Stroking her, handling her and as soon as she stresses out put her back and try again another day. They will get used to your scent and if your the one feeding them, there's a good chance she'll like you.
