What is a Nielsen family?
I'm watching family guy and they're a nielsen family .. Peters changing what comes on tv but I don't know what it is and who gets chosen

It counts what you watch on tv, it gives the viewing figures. but i think one box counts as a hundred thousand viewers. its a ramdom choice of who gets picked. I never realised it had a name unless thats just called that in the u.s
