Can you become Author to adopt existing books/drafts?

Hi. I'm an experienced author but my health is bad. I'd like to turnover two children's books and an adult book to someone to continue their sale/distribution.

The books teach writing, and here's a sample of the texts:

This is a {yarn = tale = story} __________ about a lost ball. But {initially = first} ___________ you must {understand = know} ______________ something about the Land of Cats.

The books teach vocabulary, spelling, grammar and creative writing. The children's books are titled "I wrote this book" by ________. The child fills in his/her name as the author. One book is "Children's Classic Bedtime Stories" and "A True Story from the Land of Cats". Some children go back and completely rewrite the stories as their language skills improve.

Locally some 3rd grade teachers are using my texts in their classrooms. They report children who have problems enjoy this format.

The adult book is a business text covering 48 topics, from Accounting to Warehousing. Two publishers have told me to break it (600 pages) into three books, for Administration, Sales and Operations, but my health has kep me from doing that.

The adult book is now titled "Practice Lessons for Business Writing", but your can change the titles as you see fit. The adult book was first published as "Writing Simulator for Business Communications" in 2002.

The results from persons using these books border on miracles. Some children have improved their language arts skills 3 grade levels, and adult non-native English speakers report that not only has their spoken English improved, but also their hearing comrehension improved 100% after writing only 4 chapters, about 50 pages.

Anyone who knows of a website or bulletin board that might help, or someone who is interested in taking over my books, please contact me RobertRHood@yahoo.

Thanks. Robert

Update:

My health is BAD, I'm pretty much disabled to the point of being bedridden 20 hours per day. I physically cannot continue as author. As noted, one of these books has been published since 2002.

Hi Robert, you might want to try self publishing? I myself have had a certain limited amount of success with feedaread. Good luck with this, but be warned that some companies out there will milk you for self-publishing with them (Trafford for example). You have been warned!
