Will uninstalling all my Sims 3 games help my laptop run faster?

Not necessarily. Unless you have the games running, or have some sort of launcher or updater actively open, removing them most likely won't make a difference. By having them installed you merely take up hard drive space - something that will cause no slowing to the computer - unless, of course, you are running very low (~<25GB) of space left on your computer...

If your computer is running slowly, I would recommend starting with a simple software named "CCleaner", by Piriform. Just google it. It works great and actually does something - not like other software that claim to speed up your computer.

I have the same problem with sims 3, I think its something to do with memory, you may need to format your laptop because if you have a lot of stuff on there, including hidden files, which you may think you have deleted, but kind of just stick to your laptop, then it will slow programs like that down, if you download and install games and then delete them sometimes even if you delete them the right way folders stay hidden in your drive. So like I said, all you can do is backup all your files off your laptop on a USB and then format your laptop, hopefully it should run faster then.

definitely will run faster w/o them. it's less the pc has to think about when you command it. DONt install anything else. they're games, u can simply reload if you have to. Installing is just putting more crap on your pc. cccleaner is good though, but uninstall your games first then try it.
