Just asking out of curiosity. When a particular fish can only be kept in a minimum of (eg.) 40 Gallon, does that mean since that s the minimum size, can no other fish be put in the tank as well?

1 opaline gourami

2 Platies

11 neon tetras

What can I add to this mix? I d love some colourful fish or maybe a couple of clown loaches? Please make a bunch of suggestions!

I have a glass top desk supported by steel legs. The glass of this desk is 1cm thick and it s tempered. The desk is 140 L X 60 W X 75 H cm

The tank I want to put on it is 150L. So with water in it, it will weigh 180kg. Can this desk support this weight?

I m upgrading from a 60L tank to a 150L (can t remember measurements but it s a long rectangle shape).

I currently have 4 platies, 1 opaline gourami (1.5 inch long), 11 neon tetras and 1 male guppy. Also 26 platy fry in a breeders net.

What are some fish I could add to this mix for the 150L tank? And any tips on transferring the fish, water etc? I have the correct filter, heater etc for the tank too :)

So I'm fostering two 5-week-old kittens for our local shelter until they're old enough to be desexed and then adopted! One is a girl, one is boy and they are both related.

I've had them for two days now. The shelter told us they are quite timid and will hiss if you get too close to them, so I haven't been handling/touching them. I have been sitting in the room talking softly to them and the little boy starting playing with my shoelace! But when I shuffled, he got scared and took a few steps back.

I really want to help these kittens have a good future, and 'taming' them will be a way to ensure they get a home! They haven't hissed at me, by the way.

So can anyone help me out with any tips? Google's answers were too vague for me.

I envy those people on youtube who have their budgie crawling over their cat or their Indian Ringneck playing with their dog. How is the dog/cat so well behaved with them? My dog will chase anything that moves (apart from our cats). And my cats ALWAYS catch wild birds and mice. I really would love my Cockatiel to be friends with them but I will never try it. It's just too risky right?

So how do people get their cat/dog to be so well behaved with their pet bird? Is it because they were raised together from a young age?

I'm just curious by the way, I'm definitely NOT going to introduce my bird to my other animals.

My male 6-month-old cockatiel's tail feathers are broken and 'tattered'. He is very healthy, eats normally and poops normally but his tail feathers look terrible! His tail looks more like a blunt lovebird tail rather than a long cockatiel tail :(

I give him plenty of attention he isn't plucking them out is he? His wings are clipped and he sometimes attempts to fly. Is he breaking them when he flies?

I'm a 14-year-old girl that does 'sweep' rowing in a four seated boat. I'm a novice rower and this is my first regatta coming up in a few days, I'm quite nervous about it. What are some good things to eat before the race (preferably high in energy) and when should I eat them? Also, are there any tips/tricks to make sure my row goes smoothly? I row in 2 seat by the way. I really want my laptop (HP Windows 7) to run faster, my Dad said it is probably all my Sims 3 games, since they contain so much data and stuff. I have 8 games altogether. I don't really play them anymore as we have a bigger computer to play them on. I want my laptop to run faster, so if I uninstall/delete all my Sims 3 games will that help? Thanks.

My dog barks very loud, he's a mixed breed (Golden Retriever, Spaniel & Poodle). His barks are so loud that they hurt my ears! I'm working on teaching him to stop, but I was just wondering since a dogs' hearing is so much better than ours, why doesn't it hurt his ears when he barks?! It must be ear piercing to him, but he still barks... I'm very confused can someone help me out please?! Thanks :)

okay so this guy really likes my best friend (they've been out before twice) but my guy friend still kept on liking her. she doesnt like him though, she has a boyfrend now who she has kissed etc. then when i was talking to my guy friend he gt upset and said hes going to kill my best friends boyfriend. at first i didnt believe him, but hes a dodgy guy and he was serious. i think ive talked him out of it now but he said hes going to smash him. i dont want any fights or anything! can anyone help please? thanks heaps :-)

I was watching Once upon a time (Series 2, episode 18) and at the end August is turned into a real boy by the blue fairy. What i don't get is that he was turned into a boy not his normal adult self. Why did the writers/producers etc do this? I really wanted August to be with Emma!
