What makes you personally want to sign up for a store's reward's program and what turns you off?

I don't EVER want to sign up for a store's rewards program.

The entire thing turns me off.

If I can sign up anonymously without giving my name, address, email address or any personally identifying information I'll do it just to get the sale prices.

If the rewards come by postal mail or email instead of instant savings, forget it. I make a point of shopping elsewhere.

How do you effectively pitch your store's reward's program?

I just accepted a new job with a struggling store (didn't know they were struggling at the time), and we have what I am perceiving to be an unrealistically high percentage requirement for customer's who are using or signing up for rewards cards on a daily basis. For the sake of anonymity, let's just say that this requirement is well over 50%. My sales numbers are fine, but I'm "only" hitting about 59% when it comes to the rewards program. My numbers have to go up this week. Thoughts on how to make this happen?

I don't want to be on anybodies list.
