Question on insalling windows 8.1 on a new build, from a USB. Urgent, Please help!?
Hi, I recently built my own gaming PC from, with nothing installed on it. I want to install windows 8.1 on it, as I have it on DVD. However, I don't have a disc drive with my new computer. I would like to install windows 8.1 from the USB instead of dvd, to my new PC, which again, has absolutely nothing on the HDD. Is this possible? If so, is it officially supported by microsoft? And if it is, please send a link on how to do it. Thank you for your time ad help!

Yes there is a USB DVD tool from microsoft, unfortunately you need a computer with a DVD to read the installation disk onto USB
