The sort feature when searching for questions isn't working. "Relevance", "Newest", "Most Answers" and "Fewest Answers" are the same.?

There has been a problem with the search sorting for more than a week now. It is a problem on Y!A's end, and there is nothing we can do to fix it. We will have to wait for Y!A to fix it, and considering that it is the holidays now, I wouldn't expect the fix to get started till at least next week, and that isn't even likely when the fix will be finished.

It hasn't been working for a couple of weeks. Yahoo know about it. We just have to wait and hope that they sort it out at some point.

It's like the others said. Meanwhile you can use the "my saved searches" option which works.
