Do you know your neighbors, or do you just live there and go off somewhere else in your car?

There was a time I had neighbors that I visited often and got along with.

Then, I moved and they moved.

Recently, I moved into a new home and didn't really get to know the new neighbors. I have met a couple of them and seen others, but we don't really talk much.

I DO go off somewhere else though... to visit my old neighbors where I use to live! :) Maybe, with time, I'll get to know my new neighbors better.

I know the people who live right next door to me on one side of my house since I have lived here my entire life and they moved in long before my parents did. I do not know any of my other neighbours, though. I do not really go off somewhere else in my car, though. I mostly stick around the neighbourhood, but people do not really speak to each other around here. I live in a big city on a somewhat busy street.

Indeed I do............I live in an ancient Italian village and do favors for many of the older widows here, all of whom must be between 80 and 150, I am guessing.
