How to get admissions in Canadian universities if AP is not available?

Hello, I am a Canadian citizen in an American school. I am Planning to do Engineering from a Canadian University, but most of the universities require AP for American curriculum, but my school does not have AP.

Because Canadian high schools have a 13th year you need an extra year (or AP equivalent) before you can go to a Canadian university. You can research it. Maybe a year of junior college could fill the requirement?

Contact a university you are interested in and speak to them directly. They will be very helpful. They might recommend you take a year of college to upgrade your academics. But it will be up to the school.
