vista factory reset. which SERVICE PACK UPDATE should i install.?

Update:

i have not installed any update as of yet. being offered tons of updates.

Update 2:

my system is running great!! as is. Steaming and my games etc,. / 2006 gateway 2gigRAM 100gHD

Update 3:

'streaming' LIVE TV flawlessly

    If you insist on sticking with this dinosaur, here is the answer:

    You need to install ALL of the available updates! You start with the oldest update, then reboot the computer, then install the next available (oldest) update, etc. DON'T SKIP! VISTA never used accumulated updates (to my knowledge), so you need to re-install every last one of them, one at a time, rebooting the computer between updates.

    Vista has 2 service packs install both!

    Vista ceases to be secure (no more Microsoft critical updates) in April 2017. So I suggest you install Windows 10 instead.
