Why is my car whistling when I turn the heat on?

Whenever I turn my car on and turn the heat on it whistles. It doesn't start whistling until the car warms up though.. weird. Why could this be? Kind of sounds like it is coming from the floor vents.

    You may have something stuck in the vent.

    The blower does that as its bearings begin to fail.

    It's whistling because it doesn't know the words to the song.

    I have no idea, but I will check the filters. I have a 2008 Jetta (worst car ever)

    Do you have a cabin filter in your car? If you have a filter, it may be dirty.
