Anyone use a BYOP device on straight talk and how to unlock?
I have a phone that I thought was unlocked and has been provisioned only on Straight Talk. My new provider says it is locked. IMEI lookup says its original carrier was AT&T, straight talk says they can't unlock it. AT&T will not unlock a phone that isn't on their network.
So I thought any BYOP to straight talk has to be unlocked? Am I getting conflicting answers?
