A potential tenant's appearance is irrelevant. Are you still going to think she's beautiful if she doesn't pay rent and trashes the place?

No. Some of these great 'beauties' can be major mess cats and leave crud all over. They stop up drains with hair, clog toilets with sanitary supplies, and have tons of hairy pets.
