Can my 2008 Chevrolet Colorado 3.7l I5 fit an Odyssey Extreme battery in the cooling box?
The manufacturer's website says that it will as well as other auto part sites. Before I drop $300 on a battery, I want to see if anyone has personal experience.
Much appreciated.

Whatever you do, don't trust the manual or a certified mechanic!

Would you trust me to tell you over the manufacturer who built the battery? I like Interstate batteries. Your car is 10 years old already. If you plan on keeping it only another 5 years, buy a battery that can last that long.

$300 fro a battery?! Go to Advance Auto and by the correct battery for your vehicle. They install it for free. I'll bet it's under $140.
They test the battery and charging system for free too so make sure you really need a battery!

The chance that someone on this forum owns that exact truck, has purchased that exact battery, and will see this question in a timely enough manner to be useful to you is extremely low. Go to a dedicated Chevy Colorado forum and ask there.
