my mom having an issue with her plumbing last year someone drop a coke can down the sewage opening does she need to replace her pipes or does she need a snake

Needs a talented plumber to extract it from a clean out, or an long auger to push it into the larger main.

She needs to talk to a genuine plumber. Those guys have seen everything, and know how to fix her problem. You and I don't, and if I worked on it I would feel that I'd wasted my time. I might even say I'd flushed a whole day down the drain.
In general I'd recommend a good local plumber, not a brand-name plumbing service. Do a bit of homework, like asking neighbors to tell you who they would recommend.
