Is St. Patrick's Day for everyone, or only for the Irish?

    it is supposed to be for the Irish, but for some strange reason, everyone in north america suddenly decides to become irish for a day. 

    More north americans have English heritage but they do not even know when St George's day is and they do not celebrate it. 

    Strange world.

    It's for no one this year because all the pubs and bars are closed, and there isn't even a St Patrick's Day parade.
