    They are hoarding more than toilet paper. There was only 3 bottles of dish soap at the store yesterday, no toilet paper or bleach, of course. The green leafy vegetable section was sold out.

    It's a new way of expressing the same feeling of fear by "not getting enough" of love, of food, of air, of whatever. It is also a fear of abandonment during this coronavirus pandemic.  Yeah, the toilet paper will get up and walk away from you.
