In the absence of a priest can a nun perform an exorcism?
Yes, possession went out after the 16th century, and no one believes in possession, but if for some reason there could be no priest would a nun suffice. I mean a nun is also considered one of the closest dedicated disciples of the belief in a higher power too, like a priest. Isn't she?

Anyone that believes in Yeshua can cast out demons.
Luke 10:19 Behold, I have given YOU authority to tread on serpents and scorpions [demons], and over all the power of the enemy [Satan], and nothing shall hurt you.

Satan has hidden the truth in many false religions and they are not the same.
Some teach you leave earth to go to heaven where spirit persons live.
Some say to go to hell fire and burn forever which is not a bible teaching
The wages of sin is death. God mean to put people on this planet he made habitable.
Adam and Eve sinned but all humans did not sin. Some are good people and will come back
to live on earth when it is made a paradise and the wicked are gone.

First of all, a priest does not automatically have the power of exorcism. There are a very few specially trained priests who are approved for that ministry. And no-one other than a priest is approved.
