Should I sell my dream car?

I have my dream car (Hyundai Genesis coupe 3.8 gt) and I'm paying $280/m for it for 3 more years. But lately it has just been collecting dust and I don't have a garage so it gets dirty real quick since it's black. I can't really take my 1 yr old anywhere with it since his car seat don't fit. My wife and I are also looking into moving into a bigger apartment so we need to cut our expenses somewhere. Should I just trade my car for a cheaper Hyundai Accent which would just be $100/m? Insurance would probably be cheaper. I can also Lyft/Uber with it if I can't find a job when my unemployment is over.

If I had my "dream car", I would do what it takes to keep it.  Especially since none of the problems you listed sound major (it gets dirty?  wash it).

I would wreck it and file an insurance claim, would be much easier than selling. MAKE SURE you have full coverage before you do it, I've made that mistake b4

You are TROLLING again Matthew.  You said a month ago that you clean your car EVERY DAY.  Go back to Troll University and finish the course.  You were sleeping when the teacher told you to hide your account.

"Is it bad to wash car everyday?I Lyft almost daily so I like keeping my car super clean. So I got a monthly membership at this machine wash place and been taking it 3+ times a week. I don't really care much about getting swirl marks but am I messing up the clear coat? I got the package where the machine sprays turtle wax on it. I also get it professionally clay and wax every 6 months."

It's your call, but don't get an Accent. They're tinny cheap cars. The Elantra is a lot nicer and not a lot more expensive. But don't tell me you can't find a car seat that will fit the Genesis. Call the Dealer or go Online and check fitment of seats. You will lose a good bit of money trading it in.

You should sell it. After selling it, you would probably pocket about three or $4000, depending on the mileage and condition.
