Despite our 'pain' at the comment section being removed, shouldn't we be more angered at people on here who spitefully report others?
I'm thinking of those who spend most of their time on here removing questions (and answers) which irritate them, or have them act up in a way they most certainly wouldn't do out in public - and I speak from England; the internet has become the great saviour. There have been people on here who have been fine members - but have, in time have just left - or worst, been kicked off by bullies. And as a result many (myself included) have been anonymous now for coming up to two years. What does Yahoo think of that? The various modes of aggression on here to people who happen to treat this site as it originally was.

Then there's those who just come on here and abuse either the asker or the answerer of a question that tests their tolerance (or intelligence). I see one on here has decided not to read all of your question, but never mind - being a moron is a privilege we all can choose, depending on how much we're teased out in the real world.
People on the net are not my friends - especially today, and there are a variety of reasons certain people love to hit that 'report' button. The main reason is that they are jealous, and that's before what 'personal problems' they have. Bringing them all onto sites like this is a dream come true!

I feel no pain about comments being removed, and who or what you are angered at is your business. Appeal any posts you have that are wrongfully removed (FYI, your post here is a chat violation). Ensuring ones questions aren't violations, helps decrease the likelihood of them being reported.
.
You can post again here and ask "Was this question a violation" and include the exact text of the question, including any updates, URLs, or images associated with it, and the users here will tell you if it appears to be a violation or not. If not, you have 7 days to appeal to have it reinstated.

Typically the ones that cry the most about this are the idiot trolls that just keep stupidly posting variations of the same idiocy over and over. And they almost always post anonymously because of the shame over the questions they constantly post.

I have noticed the reverse. There is a strong hesitancy to report answers or questions that clearly violate the terms and conditions. Unless they are truly offensive most people just let it go.

We cannot help our unconscious bias - but it's how we deal with it that counts.
Yahoo (or whoever owns 'Answers' now) seems to find it unimportant, with them finding it trivial to warn even the worst on here who let their bigotry rule their lives.

Of course, and many of us have been for years, but that hot anger will consume you and turn you into a bitter angry person. There's also ice cold Ida.ond hard anger, which is equally self destructive. What would be better is if Yahoo Verizon started sending out report notice and violation. notice emails and fixed the appeal hyperlink in the report notice emails so it would take us to the report notice appeal page. Having to go appeal through the Yahoo Help.pages is VERY time consuming. and very often very frustrating. Verizon stopped sending out those emails at least 2 years ago, and maybe it is closer to 3 years ago. A VERY people still get violation notice emails.
