Question for newborn mommies: How many wet wipes do you go through in 1 day!?

I am going to buy my sister a year's supply as part of her baby shower gift (actually, it will be delivered once each month). They have boxes of 800, 1200... is it more than that?

Update:

I mean baby wipes (not wet wipes)!

Do not set up a supply of wipes until she knows which ones she likes and which ones the baby can tolerate.  We had to try several before we found wipes I could use.  Although if someone had given us a year's supply of ones we couldn't use, it would've been a great donation to our local women's shelter.  So there's always that.

When it came to wipes, I used anywhere from one for a pee diaper to several for poopy.  And they pooped every time they nursed, so it could've been up to several every couple hours.

Just wait until she finds the ones she likes, then tell her to let you know when she's low.  Then deliver a new case when she notifies you.

Don't set up a huge delivery plan until you know if the baby is going to have any allergy issues.

When my children were babies, I believe I used between 8 to 12 per day.

It has been a long time since my daughter was young but from what I remember I didn't use many as I washed her butt with warm water at diaper change because she was allergic to baby wipes

Newborns at least ten a day.
