The Cybermen....they used to make me hide behind the couch.

As a child Doctor Who was in its wilderness years for me. I remembered the occasional re-run, the first villain I saw was Davros and the Daleks in a Tom Baker story, so I guess they were my childhood favourites.

The Daleks still crack me up. Also the Planetary Pirate with the Mechanical parrot.

Cybermen were my favourite, with John Pertwee as the Doc

I never focused on the villains.  I focused on the companions.  I think I liked the Romanas best.

The Ice Warriors always scared me, they were just so huge, I know you could outrun them by speedwalking but I just found them scary, also The original Master from the 70's, his eyes and voice would have me hiding behind the sofa.

I’ve only watched Dr Who 2005 until David Tennant left. My favorite episodes were the three part Master taking over the world arc, and of course blink from the same season. I want to at some point go back and watch all the older master serials and see how they are. And also watch Torchwood.

    Daleks.

But mostly when the Doctor is an enemy to himself.

It's got to be the Daleks
