Is it okay to travel to Ireland?

So me and my friend were looking into traveling to Ireland this January to explore what the Island has to offer. We are from the United States. Is it still safe/smart to travel? I know that there would be restrictions, such as wearing masks and social  distancing. But will there still be things to do, whether outdoors or indoors? Is the Guinness brewery in Dublin open? Please help!

You can travel to Ireland, but you have to quarantine for 14 days on arrival and fill out a form before you go indicating where you will be quarantined. You cannot go out sightseeing during that period.

I wouldn't buy any unrefundable tickets right now. Chances are you may not be able to travel in January.

Realistically, it would be best to put your plans on hold until you have a better idea of what your options will be (currently you won't get into the country) and what will be open. The weather is unlikely to be great in January, so outdoors won't be very appealing.
