Which nations currently require Americans to show proof of vaccination upon entry and which vaccination?

Everyone keeps saying that the idea of digital covid-19 passports shouldn't be a controversial idea for Americans because some countries already require proof of vaccinations for American travelers.

Which countries require the Americans to show proof of vaccinations and which vaccinations do they require?

Many African, South American, and Caribbean countries require vaccines for entry, most often malaria and yellow fever vaccines.  Other vaccines may also be required in some countries.  Meningitis vaccines are sometimes required, and hepatitis are often highly recommended.

The UK doesn't require a Covid passport from Americans.   We don't let you in AT ALL.   This is because you all went mad and talked **** about the disease for 12 months and think it is something to do with Aliens or the New World Order.

The controversy about COVID 'passports' isn't really about travel abroad. Other countries are requiring proof, and people who have been vaccinated should be able to get some form of proof if they want it. The controversy is about whether employers and college should be able to require proof (as one college has already announced it will) and whether there should be a national database of vaccine recipients. The latter already exists in a way. When someone gets vaccinated, they are given instructions to sign up for checks from the CDC- if they want to. The CDC sends messages asking people to report on how they're feeling- to gather data. No one is forced to participate, but the CDC does have a record of those who have registered, and could issue something official that we could use to travel. Years ago, I had a World Health Organization booklet with records of my vaccinations, which I had to show to enter certain countries where things like smallpox, diptheria and measles hadn't been wiped out.

Do you mean vaccines in general, or just covid?  Many African countries require vaccinations for yellow fever, others for Police, meningitis, and that sort of thing.

I'd be willing to bet that the people making the loudest complaints about a covid vaccination requirement don't even have passports.

All of them I hope. Why should anyone trust Americans?
