If I were able to make an animated TV series, should I make an pilot?

People had making animated pilots, so If I was to make an animated TV series, should I make an idea, concept and pilot?

    All TV series start with a pilot, which is used to market the show to see if its good enough to include more episodes.

    If you're serious, talk to an agent.  Everything in the entertainment business happens through agents.
