Can I donate blood if I been with in same sex intercourses before?
I been celibate for about a year now. I was tested for STD and STI a year ago, and as soon as I got my result back ( all negative) I decided to practice celibate ever since. I haven’t had sex with nobody for over a year already. Can I donate blood or I can never donate blood ever again?

As long as you don't have HIV, hepatitis, or any other blood born infections (diseases that can be passed through blood), you should be okay to donate. Usually they test your blood for things like that, before it's donated.

You should be okay. They might have loosened restrictions lately (I'm not sure) but 5 years ago male-male sex was banned, but if you were celibate for 12 months you could donate.

I am actually not sure. Best is you can do is call on of the places.
I know that was a question as well as abt having intercourse with someone from Africa.
I know that some medications and diseases are automatically not accepted. My suggestion is call or go. And just be honest. If they say no or if they say you have to wait a certain amount of time.

I don’t think your sexual orientation matters at all. As long as you test negative for drugs and diseases, blood is blood. There’s no difference between straight blood and gay blood.
