Why rain showers mostly on the center of town than its outskirts?
I have been observing this for quite sometime

The other two answers make some sense, but it's also possible that the topography in your area favors rain dumping on the town itself, due to the particular configuration of hills, and where the prevailing winds come from.

Some of the local weathermen have talked about the concrete and pavement heating up during the day and effecting the weather by causing an updraft in the downtown area . This is in the DFW area .

Because the radar only extends so far from the town?
