if your mum puts you up for adoption then adopts you are you still adopted?

    I think what you are asking is, can your biological mother adopt you back in adulthood, after she surrendered you for adoption when you were a child?

    In the United States, where I live, it is possible to adopt back a child in adulthood, that a parent gave up for adoption  as a child.

    i have also been told that this is possible in Canada, at least in some provinces. I do not know about the laws in other countries.

    In the US, you are considered the child of your biological parents when you have been adopted-back, but I don't know anything else about how it works.

    I do know people who have done it.

    I think in order to totally restore your original birth-child status, you would have to find a way to set aside the original adoption. i have heard of that happening once in awhile.

    Ya I think so but I think called open adoption. You would basically be like third wheel . If same race even might say not mother but aunt etc but usually it's truth it just depends but basically you are not really the parent etc is confusing lol like how you said adopt own kid lol 😂
