should I give this video a thumbs down?

I watched a video but I'm afraid of giving it a thumbs down because I am afraid that it might get taken down by the uploader or that the uploader will stop posting videos.  The thing is I don't want the video to be taken down or for him to stop posting videos.  I just don't like it and want to give it a thumbs down.  Am I over thinking this??

Instead of merely giving it a thumb's down, why not give him some constructive criticism that he can use, so that when he makes his next video you will enjoy it more.

I request feedback for my videos all the time. A thumbs down is fine providing I know why it was given.

its fine to give it a thumbs down. the creator should take it that someone simply doesnt like the video, its very unlikely the creator will take down the video

Yes, over-thinking. Just thumbs down if that is what you feel. If the uploader takes it down or stops posting any more videos then it's not your problem he's onion-skinned.
