What is a non comprehensive mid term exam? ?
I have a history mid term coming up for an online class. The instructor posted on the syllabus that the test is non comprehensive. That is all he will tell us. What is a non comprehensive exam?

a comprehensive exam covers everything since the class began ... ergo, a non-comprehensive one might cover only the material studied since the most recent prior exam
