Should a free society allow advertising?
Why or why not? what do you think? what are some benefits and some challenges to this? Just curious to see what your take is on this.

Absolutely. It doesn't mean any of it has to be believed or followed though. It's all part of the so-called "freedom of speech" which isn't as free as it should be.

A "free" society that doesn't "allow" something like advertising is not a free society, and consequently is likely to not allow other freedoms either.
