What was the first comic book (name/issue) that you can recall owning?

I think it was Captain America 333 where he quits the Avengers

I used to like Harvey comics when I was about 5 years old.

That's been a while. I think it was a Wendy comic, but I was pretty young.

I don't think that it was the first but I had a copy of issue 1 of Merry Melodies Loony Toons. I wonder what it would be worth now.

I didn't have only one, I got an old collection to start. A few 60s, 70s, 80s books. Dr Solar, Firestorm, Green Lantern, Superman vs Spiderman Giant sized, ASM, Peter Paker, Web, Morbius, Judge Dredd, Savage Sword of Conan, Thor, Sub Mariner,  What If, Silver Surfer, etc..

Not sure if the first comic i read was a collection of Garfeild strips from the library, or a small stack of cheap archie comics that an aunt sent me for my birthday one year, but pretty much since I was 7 I've been reading comic books.
