With home prices rising sky high, do millennials now regret all that avocado toast they wasted there money on?

They could have had an appreciating asset they could have lived in, and instead they chose to waste there money on rent and overpriced lunches?

There's no way giving up avocado toast would give someone enough money to afford a house.  Housing prices have risen far higher than wages.

Where I live a house has cost more than half a million dollars since the Great Recession. Today they are a million. It was nigh on impossible for me to have worked long enough to have money to afford a mortgage. However, I can proudly say I bought my house three years ago, but I make five times what my friends growing up make.

    Never had avocado toast.

Can you buy a house in any of the major markets?
