I see all these pictures of people sitting on the ground being pepper sprayed. Are police violating the people's right to congregate and protest??? Or are the protestors really being rude and disorderly and deserve to be "controlled"? What is going on?!

I adopted my cat 3 years ago and he is 10 now. Because I rescued him he is VERY attached to me and needs a lot of attention. He is very sweet and still energetic and playful, I want to get another cat for several reasons.

One, my husband's cat died of liver failure a year ago and we miss having two cats. Second, my cat is so awesome I want another one so he can teach the new cat how to be awesome, too. Also, my cat and my 2 year old dog would love another chase playmate.

I have heard of very bad situations when people get a new cat and they have an older one. What kind of cat should I get to make things easier? Like, a male or female, kitten or young cat or adult? I plan on getting it from the shelter so it will be fixed. If it matters, my cat is a gray long haired and he's about 12 pounds.

I accidentally left a window open for 3 days and now have lizards in my bedroom!

I whacked one with a broom, one I threw a towel over and then an upside down bowl over that and had my husband dispose of both.

I love most all things in nature and am very surprised at my violence towards lizards! I just don't like them being in my house.

Now, my cat is freaking out about "something" in my bed. I know it's a lizard. (No my cat didn't kill the lizards, btw. Just looked at them. He's an old cat)

Here's my questions: Can lizards climb up into your bed? Why do they look at you with beady little eyes with their heads all twisted back? Do they think or are they just following instinct?

WITHOUT TOUCHING IT OR GETTING WITHIN 6 FEET OF IT, what is the best way to get a lizard safely back outside?

I've seen Season 2 and am now watching season 1 on CBS. I missed the episode a couple weeks ago when Dexter's sister Deb meets Rudy. How did they meet? I am assuming he sought her out but - what is the story of how they met? Also, what exactly is his profession??

I can't believe I missed that important episode! Please tell me if you know.

My end of the street doesn't have a streetlight. It's VERY dark. Last night my husband's car stereo was stolen (it was in our driveway) so we have definite reasons to request a streetlight. Who do we call for that? Do you know what the streetlight guidelines are? Oh, we're in Austin TX if that matters. Thank you!

My little sis turns 16 soon! She is a little bit country and a little trendy and sort of boy crazy.

I am in my 30s and don't know what to get her! For Christmas I got her some pretty boring gifts, I want her 16th BDay gift to be very special but still cool enought that she'll love it. I'd like to spend a max of $50.

Any ideas?? I'd really appreciate some links to where I can go buy this gift, too. Thanks!

I took a nutrition profile on 24hourfitness.com. It said that I should eat 1750 calories a day, and burn 2410 each day, for a deficit of abou 500 cals per day which would make me lose about a lb a week.

That totally makes sense, I get the math and how it works, I'm not questioning that.

What I need to know is: How many calories a day should I burn exercising to total 2410 each day? How do I know how many calories I burn each day on days I don't exercise at all?

I have been aiming to burn at least 300 each day at the gym. I am 30 year old female, 5'6", 175 lbs looking to lose 25 lbs.

If I do eat 1750 calories per day, how many calories should I burn each day excersising to lose 1-2 lbs per week?

Also, what happened to him as a kid? The whole sitting in blood thing? I missed what happened with that, too...

If you're bitten by a possibly rabid animal, is it true that they want the animal to cut off its head? I know rabies is neurological, but what are they looking for? If the animal is infected with rabies, are they looking for the actual virus or changes in the brain??

I'm at a point where this seems obvious and I missed it. How did he get the wand? Did he kill someone or did he steal it...?

I have a 4 mnth old black lab pup who needs lots of walks to help expend her boundless energy..

She does fine when we walk by dogs on leashes, sometimes they sniff and play a little but she doesn't have any aggression or problems at all. She is still a puppy even though she's 25lbs already...

Sometimes a loose dog will run up to us, it's fine now that she's a pup but when she's an adult, excited-energy lab jumping up to a rushing barking German Shep or Chow, that could cause problems!

What are you supposed to do when loose dogs run up to you walking your dog on a leash? So far I just stay relaxed and keep walking straight ahead but what if a dog comes all the way up to us and a fight starts?

Just trying to get educated before something like this happens. And yes she's in puppy kindergarten for socialization and yes we'll get her spayed. ;)

After her emergency surgery (miscarriage?) when the Chief runs in she says something and I have no idea what but it looked important! Something about somebody wasn't so bad, and they made somebody drink water, and "it was a boy". Who is she talking about, the kid or the kid's dad??

How can I find out what she said, like can someone tell me or let me know where to find a transcript?
