  • What’s your final goodbye question on Yahoo! Answers?

It’s the final day before Yahoo! Answers closes. What are you going to do now and what’s your final question? Especially if you only have one question left to ask for the day.

  • Why is Erika treating me like a baby?

At work there is a new supervisor and her name is Erika. I know what to do and have been at the company a long time. In fact, I was on my break and she was on break with me where I always know to go back to work in time. The other day she came over to me while I was on my phone sending a text message on my break and she said to me: “Ok. Are you ready now to get back to work? Come on. I can walk you down.” I looked at her weird and told her I still have time then she kept standing over me and asking me if I was sure I was following the rules. Why is she treating me like that and escorting me to work with keeping an eye on me for?

  • Was it necessary to have a psychologist with a briefcase at my job?

I been working at my job for over 20 years and all of a sudden, my boss told pulled me in the office and had me sit down with Human Resources and there was this guy I didn’t even know who was wearing a suit and a had a briefcase and he introduced himself saying he is a psychologist with mentioning his concerns about my anger management or psychotic behavior but I never had this problem at all and always been a hard worker. I felt so uncomfortable and didn’t know what he was talking about or who he was. He kept sitting with me at my job too and watching me asking lots of questions about why I am doing the job like that and asked me about mental issues which I was not aware of. He even gave me one of those IQ tests and asked me to color in a room with having my use crayons.

Was this necessary to have a psychologist with me at my job? HR and my boss never explained to me about this at all or what the reason for this was. I thought it was weird.

  • Was my boss at work overreacting by giving me a warning for writing personal notes?

I was at work and I am usually never slacking but there was a song stuck in my head I wrote down notes on and all of a sudden my boss comes over to my desk and looks at me weird asking me what I am writing or asked me why I am not working. She saw what I was writing and took the paper away and threw it out. Not only did I get in trouble for writing personal notes not work related but I also forgot the name of the song that is stuck in my head thanks to her throwing it out. Was she out of line here? I mean people talk and slack all the time and they never get in trouble. I do one thing and get told about it.

  • Why are girls so unfriendly and don’t say hi back?

I get it that I may be a stranger but it’s common and normal for people to be friendly. Every time I walk by a girl near my college, I would just say hi because I am polite and being friendly but they never say hi back. The girl would just stare, ignore me, and give me a weird look. It’s like you can’t even say hi to a woman these days anymore without being accused of being a sex offender or hitting on them. Is it too much to ask for someone to be friendly and say hi back? It’s not I am asking to date them.

  • Why does wearing a mask hurt my ears?

My mask is on and it’s not even on tight. When I wear it all day, it hurts my ears on the side and my ears get so sore when I take them off. Why is that? Is there a way to prevent this and adjust masks? Please don’t’ say take my mask off because my job requires a mask all day I am at it where I am not allowed to remove the mask.

  • Why do people need to make things so complicated with technology?

Why can’t things be easy these days to do things? Why do we have to use technology instead of humans to serve people? Another example is these cashless payments and I think it’s because people are so lazy to count money that they rather have technology to go cashless or making cashless payments by having people just use debit and credit cards. I know its 2021 but why does everything have to be so complicated with technology?

  • Have you seen people ask questions that haven’t been on Yahoo! Answers for years?

I have seen users from 10 years ago come back on Yahoo! Answers just today to get their final questions in probably because they know Yahoo! Answers is shutting down. I have even seen same questions from years ago too. Have you seen questions from 10 years ago and do you recognize anyone you seen from years ago that came back on so they can participate before Yahoo! Answers shuts down?

  • What if I have over 60 questions to ask before Yahoo! Answers shuts down?

I know there is a day limit of 5 questions to ask on Yahoo! Answers. However, what if I run out of points for the day to ask questions before Yahoo! Answers shut down? What if I don’t have enough time to ask every single question I wanted to ask? Will Yahoo wait for me and make an exception so there will be expanded time to get questions in before it’s too late?

  • Why do people keep moving to the side who are walking their dogs when I am walking on the side walk?

I will be walking on the side walk and the person will have plenty of room to walk across from me and even around me but instead this person just stood there waiting for me to pass and moved to the side with their dog. I told that person: "You could go ahead. You have room to walk." Then he just ignored me and didn't say nothing. It's not like I have covid and if people are worried because of the social distancing that is crazy.

  • Do you get annoyed that people stand in front of you to get food at a buffet take so long to move out of the way ?

With restrictions being loosened here, I know some restaurant buffets that are reopen including coffee shops. Nothing annoys me more than when someone takes their good old time and keep people waiting behind them at a buffet to get food or condiments, and at a coffee shop to get sugar or napkins. At a buffet, I will wait for like 2 minutes just for someone to move out of the way and they will be standing in front of me being in my way not moving out of my way when I am waiting to get food that they are standing in front of that is hard for me to reach over. I will sometimes say: "excuse me" and they will either tell me to hang on one second or give me a weird look with not moving. Even at a coffee shop I will try to wait for someone to move so I have room to get napkins and the person will take their good old time not giving me room to get through and get something. Is this rude of them and do you find this annoying? What will you do?

  • Don’t you get sick of idiots playing rap music in the car all the time?

I am so sick of hearing people playing rap music which rhymes with crap. It’s annoying to hear and these young people play it so loud without bass and it’s just horrible rap where they turn up their music so loud and play it in public. It’s so dumb. Does this drive you crazy? Having someone play screaming metal I can handle but hearing the same old rap which everything is now a days with rap commercials is getting old. Why can’t there just be normal variety music these days?

  • Is it rude to say the word “duh”?

Some girls say that word a lot and get all smart with me. It comes off like I am dumb. Is this rude of them?

  • Is anyone going to remember Yahoo! Answers in 10 years from now?

I know a lot of frequent users who participate in Yahoo! Answers every day will be stunned and not know what to do without Yahoo! Answers. I know people who barely go on Yahoo! Answers anyway will not care at all about Yahoo! Answers shutting down. I personally am one of those people who do care about Yahoo! Answers and have been on it quite often.

For people who do care about Yahoo! Answers and will miss it, will you always remember this site in 10 years and many years to come in the future or will you forget about it?
