Quiz for Ramadanites (just for fun) OK?

Suppose you are inside a room with only two doors, one leads to a very good place, the other leads to a very bad place.

On each door there is a guardian, one of the guardians ALWAYS tel the truth, the other ALWAYS lies and of course you don't know which one is who, and not necessarily the liar is on the bad door...

You can only ask ONE question to one of the guardians, and your objective is to figure out which door leads to the good place to use it and get out of the room.

what would be the question?

cause it is not that the good guy is at the good door and the bad guy is at the bad door, they could be any combination.

what i meant is, you don't know for sure if the good guy is at the good door and the bad guy is at the bad door ! maybe the good guy is at the bad door and the bad guy is at the good door !

    you ask one the guardians--"what door would the other say leads to the good place"--you choose the other door.

    Well, suppose the door behind each of them was BLUE. Then I would ask one "Does the RED door behind you/that you are guarding lead to a good place?" If the guardian answered 'Yes' I would know he was lying, and go to the other door, if 'No' I would enter that one.

    Don't you see? If s/he's the liar, then he'll lie about the colour of the door, he'll basically be saying, "Yes, the RED door behind me leads to a nice place." when the door is actually BLUE. If s/he's telling the truth, he answer, "No." because, again, the door is BLUE. See?

    Hint: Ask a question that will involve both guardians.

    Answer(1): You ask a door - "If I were to ask the other quardian which door leads to the good place, what would he say". And then you pick the opposite door of what he tells you.

    Answer(2): Ask the door - "If I asked you which door leads to the good place before, which door would you have told me?" (negative and negative = positive, positive and positive = positive). and you choose the door that it directs you to.

    If the good place banned all lying, which door would you take?

    this can be asked of either guardian, they will both point to the good place.

    I would ask a really simple question like : What colour is a banana? Or something along those lines. The one who always lie will probably say something like blue so then I know what door to go to.

    Edit: now I'm very confused...

    Edit: no... i still dont get it, im a bit thick today lol n/ mind

    Ill ask one door. How old was Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) when he became a prophet. who ever tells the truth will show ;)
