WOW.... people are so negative here.

    yes.

solar wind. but its charged particles, not an exchange of air pressure.

it CAN push a sail and blow away atmospheres from planets though. (mars)

and yes, there is "some" air.

about 6% of space contains hydrogen and helium just freely floating around......not to mention meteors, comet trails and random dust particles.

There is a continuous solar wind, There has been chunks of air torn away from Mars by the Solar wind. We live in the Universe so of course there is air and wind in the universe.

There is no air in outer space.

There is solar wind, but not caused by air but by high energy particles from the sun (or any star).

Someone earlier said space is a vacuum. This is not true. Space of full of particles, so it's not a true vacuum.

No. If you need an explanation, air has mass and there is no gravity in space to hold the mass of oxygen anywhere.

Have you ever seen the experiment where you place a yard stick halfway on a table and place a newspaper on the end on the table, flatten out all the air pockets, and you hit the end of the yard stick that is sticking out of the table? The yard stick breaks because oxygen/air does have mass, and it is weighing down on the paper. In space, there is nothing to hold air, and nothing can survive to produce it.

Actually yes. There's particles floating around, a few gaseous atoms here and there, particles from solar wind, and so on.

But the particles are so few and far inbetween that it might as well be considered a vacuum.

No Space is a vacuum. No air dere. Can't breathe there. AIR is a mixture of Oxygen & Nitrogen. None of that in space.

Air in it's abstract form, no. There's no wind because there is no air like we do that has different pressure. Wind occurs because our air moves from high pressure to low pressure, so the moving air creates wind. Since there is no air in space, there cannot be wind.

Nope. None. No way there's any wind, either. Wind is uneven heating and cooling of a surface. Since there's no surface in space, there's no wind.

you have to realize that the universe in massive so im 100% sure that there is air out there somewhere but by us no

whos to say that there arent other species that breathe stuff other than air anyways

and as far as winds yes there are solar winds but im not sure if those count

    but from us to pluto

    no air

    no wind

    no sound

solar wind from the sun, but if you are talking about wind like whether or earth wind, then no
