Screen all black after rebot! How to fix it?

Ok….. I tried doing the F8, then I tried every step after that, “last known install” all of them, after I hit enter and then enter again, I get the black screen again with the little white cursor blinking in the upper left! Is there a way to get my rebot disk to work again? I can just do a recovery or re-install XP?? Little help please, also, the hard drive is new, I replaced it and uploaded all my drivers back. It worked perfect for a day and then after a rebot it was stuck on the black screen. Options???

Update:

You need the Original CD for installation on reboot. That's for the product key.

Read SP3 updater that auto installed unto SP2 - when not properly read or auto install.

It seems your system hijacked itself. I have been made aware by MS Support to 'go buy another cd' to update.

Just tried to run DVD Player and says I have 'buy' a decoder.

It seems MS is trying to 'crash' Windows Xp to jump start VISTA on the fast track for even after MS Support installed SP 3 - ala Professional Style, I cannot access Word, Excel, or other windows software - I have to 'buy' a cd for product - 3 total - or about $499 and in the near future I have to buy a Vista upgrade... all this via email with MS Support..

this is only due to the reason that u havnt downloaded all the drivers or files of operating system.

so the true advice will be do go for 1 more reboot with all files.

it will take time but it will be peramanent solution.

It seems the operating system file is corrupt. Why don't you simply reinstall the operating system.
