7 month old not sitting up?
my 7 month old is crawling and starting to pull up but the poor little guy just refuses to sit up! He is too busy trying to get his feet or something else and I really dont want to let him know if he doesnt hold himself up that he will fall if Im not sitting there holding him up. Is this normal my oldest was sitting by himself at 5 months before he started crawling. Most babies sit before they crawl but has anyone else children done this? Thanks!

he will do it. don't worry. if he is crawling and pulling himself then he should be able to sit up. maybe he is just too interested in walking lol

My daughter started sitting on her own and crawling at the same time (7 months). I had to go out of town for a few days and I left her with my parents. When I came home, she was sitting and crawling! I really don't know which she did first, but they were within a few days of each other.
