  • Preparing for premature delivery at 33 to 34 weeks.?

Anyone have experiences to share? I made 33 weeks yesterday and my water broke 5 days ago. They stopped labor and gave me steriod shots and now I am on bed rest until a week from today when they will induce me. They'd like to wait until 34 weeks but if I show signs of infection or go into labor again they won't stop it. Anything to help me prepare for after her birth would be helpful, weight, hospital stay, etc. Thank you!

  • 10 month old wanting to be held constantly?

I have an almost 2 year old and a 10 month old and my 10 month old constantly wants to be held unless his brother is playing with him. I am at a loss I have no idea what to do. Its not just me he just likes to be held but my housework and attention to my oldest is faltering. I have laundry for days and I havent done the dishes in 2. My oldest grew out of that stage by now and I just dont know what to do. I dont have the money to hire a babysitter to come and clean or have the money to hire a housekeeper. Its just not realistic. Theres nothing dangerous about the house its just freakin messy and I am tired of not being able to clean it up! He will take naps fine (sometimes lol) and when he does my oldest wants me to play with him because I am constantly tending to Riley and when he is fine playing with Logan if I stand up he thinks " Hmm, Mommy is supposed to be holding me if she is standing!" Any advice?

  • can you put a bow in a Cavalier King Charles Hair?

Getting my little girl Jade this week! I was wondering if and when you could put a bow or a clippie bow in their hair? I know if you let it grow its long enough but is there anything I should know about their heads (sensitivity to those types of things) I havent seen pictures of one with anything like that in their hair. I also wanted to know how they did with different types of weather and do they like water?

  • 7 month old not sitting up?

my 7 month old is crawling and starting to pull up but the poor little guy just refuses to sit up! He is too busy trying to get his feet or something else and I really dont want to let him know if he doesnt hold himself up that he will fall if Im not sitting there holding him up. Is this normal my oldest was sitting by himself at 5 months before he started crawling. Most babies sit before they crawl but has anyone else children done this? Thanks!

  • what do you think....................?

I had the depo shot after my 6 month old was born. When it wore off (I didnt get it again because I didnt like the way it made me feel) I started to bleed. I bled for almost 3 months. I had been having pregnancy symptoms but I blew it off to the shot (hence not wanting it anymore as I felt pregnant) now Its been a little over a month since i stopped bleeding and I havent had a period. I am starting to feel twitching in my abdomen (for about two weeks) and I have a lot of pregnancy symptoms. I get sporadic momentes of nausea, I am always tired, frequent headaches, frequent trips to the bathroom and constipation. I am also craving coffee and I dont even drink it. Do you think its just bc of the depo shot or do you think i am pregnant? I have taken pregnancy test after pregnancy test and theyre negative.

  • depo shot screwed me over and im not sure if I am pregnant?

I had the depo shot at my 6 week checkup after my youngest son was born. After about 2 and a half months I started to bleed (guessing it was wearing off) I didnt like the way it made me feel so I didnt get it again. I bled for 2 months non stop (not enough for a tampon but more than a panty liner a day) and I stopped bleeding 4 weeks ago. Im not sure when I am supposed to start my period but I have been having many pregnancy symptoms. I have had coffee cravings and I dont drink coffee! I do now though, yum lol.

I also have been feeling nauseas thoughout the day and my nipples are sensitive. I have frequent headaches and I also have to urinate a lot more lately which is very strange for me (I usually go no more than 3 or 4 times a day and now its 7 or 8). My cervix is also long and thick (I have a shallow downstairs so when I am ... ya know... I can feel it. I have also been having alot of discharge that is kind of mucousy. Just wanted someones opinion on this. I have a 19 mth old and a 6 month old so its a little hectic and stress does get to me but this much? I have taken a pregnancy test (or 4) and they have came back negative so I'm wondering if its just too early or if my hormone may not be high enough level to know. Just want opinions thanks! Dont tell me to go to the doc bc I know I need to if I dont start my period

  • Someone give me some advice please!!!?

I am sorry this is for me to vent too but I am going nuts! I have an 18 month old and an almost 6 month old. They share a bedroom and their door doesnt shut. My oldest started the CIO method at 6 months so he could learn to self soothe and stop fighting his sleep so badly. It was so easy. I unfortunately cannot do that with Riley because of Logan. We tried for two days and gave up. During the day Logan would go check on Riley if he was screaming and then try to talk to him. If they would go to bed at the same time for a nap or for night time then they would scream for hours. I cant put Riley in his bed during the day because Logan can just go in the room. I have no where to put Riley because my 2 bedroom trailer(mobile home) is small and crappy. (I own it but I am really starting to hate it. My roof is also leaking by my back door and it is rotting my freakin walls out. Sorry I know I am venting) The boys have the bigger room so I cant put a pack n play in my room for him to sleep because there is literally no room. I can barely open my closet. I dont have anywhere in the living room and it wouldnt help anyway because Logan would just wake him up. Great he just went into the room ... Riley has been asleep for about 10 minutes now in there and he is about to be woken up. I dont know what to do. Riley and I are both losing sleep over this. Riley is also rolling over in his sleep onto his stomach now and its making him wake up. Someone please help me with some kind of advice?

  • what are your views on the Bermuda Triangle?

I was wondering if the Navy is saying its not true then why arent there any pictures of it? Above or in the middle? I see pics of it from the side in the air and in the water but not in the middle. I think its real but I was wondering anyone else's views on it. I want to go but not until I am old and gray!

  • large lump on upper mid chest above breasts?

My fiance has a large lump above his breasts in the middle of where they would be if they were higher up. He had a cyst 2 years ago in the exact spot. He went to the hospital and they lanced it but they did it in the same spot they lanced the cyst from before. It looks just like it. They went deep but I dont think they went deep enough since it was scar tissue they cut into. It didnt need to be packed or stitches and scabbed over the next day. they said it was probably a clogged sweat gland. I think theyre full of crap because the cut itself looks fine but the lump looks infected. Any idea of what it could be or any opinion of if you think it is another cyst.

  • I know this is overrated but do you think I may be pregnant?

I have two kids already. After my second (4months) I got the depo shot at my 6wk checkup. As my shot started to wear off (I didnt want it again it made me feel like crap all the time) I started to feel better but I also started bleeding. its not heavy enough for a tampon so its pretty light. I am still bleeding. It has been a little over a month but my husband and I have had sex multiple times. Anyway, I have been feeling extremely tired, headaches that come and go, craving pizza like crazy and I have eaten quite a few things I wouldnt usually like (potatoes, steak) I know that could be my taste buds changing but it could also be from pregnancy as I ate steak with my oldest but didnt like it after the pregnancy again. Do you think I should get a test to see? I have been putting it off because I am still bleeding but could the fatigue just be from getting up in the morning to two teething babies (17 mth old is getting two teeth and 4 month old just got two.) Thanks for any answers. Hahaha, they suggested this go to the sport category wrestling? =/

  • switching to toddler bed?

How old were your kids when you switched or plan to? How did it go? Did they cry more than just being put in bed or did they adapt easily? Did it take long for them to adapt? Did they fall out of bed?

I spilled some of my sons ear infection meds (Amoxicillin) hes 3 months almost 4 months old. How do I tell the doc that without them thinking im just trying to get the meds for myself? Would they understand? Im retarded and went to shake it and put it back in the fridge because I forgot I left it out and when I did the cap wasnt all the way on and some went flying. Ugh. Hes supposed to take it all until its gone and im guessing about a dose and a half is gone now. would that be okay to give him the rest and not worry about it unless its not better or should I say something?

  • two questions.................................?

When did you stop using dreft? My two month old is getting the cold we have (started with my 15 month old) and it comes with a sore throat and mine has a chesty cough. I think hes getting it his nose is stuffy tonight and hes acting fussy. I gave him some tylenol to help him sleep so he would feel better but do you know anything else I can do other than the humidifier, steamy bathroom, snot sucker (bulb syringe), saline nose drops and lots of love that I can do? Im going to bring him to the doctor monday but I know they cant do anything so Im not sure what they would say. Any tips I dont want him to end up in the hospital. Thanks!

  • this is probably going to sound gross....?

Okay so in adult stores they have what is called Anal Ease. It is used for anal sex (in case you didnt know or get it from the name) and it doesnt have medicine in it but it numbs and its flavored. I know a lot of people who use it for teething. I am getting a bottle soon because my 2 month old cant have orajel all day! You can use it anytime and however much you like. Would you think about trying it? It is said to taste better than orajel so the baby wont try to turn away since it tastes good and its non medicated so its like teething tablets but better!

  • a little confused.............?

my son had his 15 month shots today checkup and they checked his throat (it has been sore). the doctor told my fiance (he brought him i stayed home with the baby because it is raining) that we needed to start working the foreskin back on his penis since hes not circumsized. I didnt feel the need to circumsize him and I will not my other son isnt and neither is my fiance. It is not my belief to cut part of my boys' parts off so please dont say its cleaner because in reality its not. Ive heard you shouldnt do that until it comes back on its own at a later age (around 2 atleast) and I was wondering what everyones opinion is on this. My nephew was 2 almost 3 and he had to have a circumsicion because his wouldnt go back all the way and it was growing to the head of his penis. I dont want that to happen but I also dont want to hurt my son. Any advice or opinion on if I should listen or let my son do it himself?
