Sounds stupid but, how do I find the formatting palette of microsoft word?
Yes, I know you click on tab at the top to view the formatting palette but somehow it isnt showing up. I have a mac. Sometimes I drag the palette to the very side so it isnt in the way but this time it doesnt show up. Its making formatting things really hard. I know it sounds stupid but is there anything I can do? Restarting or quitting doesnt work, and the palette isnt on the other screens when I use entourage.

Word 2004, I believe? There's been a bug that causes the formatting palette to 'show' outside the visible screen area, or something like that...
First make sure your Office 2004 has the highest update version (11.6.6). Use the built-in online update check for that. (It's also possible to download all updater files manually and apply them one after another :http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads?pid=Mactopi... but the automatic update feature is less of a hassle...)
Trashing the preference files of Office might help immediately, but it also discards all Word preference settings that you might have made:
1. Quit all Office applications.
2. In the Finder, go into your user home folder and navigate down to the folder Library > Preferences.
3. Trash all files that start with com.microsoft... and end with .plist.

Aaron is authentic, and that i will upload a small little bit of information. Assuming you have workplace 2003 on your pc, there's a loose upload-on you may get from the microsoft workplace replace internet site that shall we your 2003 version study and write records from 2007.
